This was for a time part of the Cobourg circuit. Rice Lake Circuit formed 1825-26 and included Otonabee, Monaghan, Cavan, Smith, Douro, Dummer, Ops and Emily Twps, Peterborough, and Mud Lake. Became Cavan circuit in 1828
